Program Accreditation by HEA (Higher Education Authority, Republic of Zambia)
Livingstone International University of Tourism Excellence and Business Management – LIUTEBM, Lusaka, Zambia, is a Recognised University under the Higher Education Act of the Republic of Zambia vide Higher Education Authority Registration Number HEA/026. Program Accreditation is a relatively new concept in Zambia, having been introduced only in 2018/19. The LIUTEBM, as a HEA-recognised Higher Education Institution, has actively participated in the process and has been working diligently with the HEA on program accreditation.

LUTEBM University's HEA ZQF-10/PhD Accreditation for the new PhD admissions is in process.
Equivalence in the USA and CANADA
The NACES, USA (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services), approved credential evaluation bodies, such as SPANTRAN and FCSA, have evaluated LIUTEBM's qualifications as equivalent to a US Regionally Accredited qualification at the same level. The US government and non-governmental organisations accept equivalences from NACES-affiliated credential evaluation agencies. Similarly, the World Education Services (WES) has evaluated LIUTEBM Doctoral Degrees equivalent to Canadian and US-accredited doctoral qualifications.
